TANKARD To Record New Album, Thirst, In September/October; December Release Confirmed

German thrashers TANKARD have issued the following update:
"Frankfurt's finest Tankard will record their 13th studio album, Thirst, in August/September 2008 with producer Andy Classen (HOLY MOSES, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, DEW-SCENTED, etc.) at Stage-One-Studio in Bühne, Germany.The CD will be released on December 19th via AFM Records.
Gerre & Co. will also contribute a brand new song for the third CD compilation of their beloved football team SG Eintracht Frankfurt.
This sampler should be out during the fall!"
