DENIAL FIEND, the Tampa, Florida-based band featuring in it's ranks Terry Butler (SIX FEET UNDER, ex-MASSACRE, ex-DEATH), Kam Lee (ex-Massacre, ex-MANTAS), Curt Beeson (NASTY SAVAGE, LOWBROW) and Sam Williams (DOWN BY LAW, PSEUDO HEROES), will be doing theirf irst tour of Mexico in early June 2008.

Denial Fiend guitarist Sam Williams comments: "Denial Fiend are very excited to be descending upon Mexico to spread our plague.We can't wait to play for the best metal fans in the world, They are very passionate about there music. We will see you Necromaniacs soon. Let the blood flow!!!"

Denial Fiend is also confirmed for this years Central Illinois Metalfest, set to take place July 18th - 20th at the Canopy Club in Urbana, Illinois.

And tomorrow (Friday, May 23rd) Denial Fiend will be opening for OBITUARY at The Crowbar in Tampa, Florida (see poster at left).

Denial Fiend released their debut album, They Rise, last October via Ibex Moon Records. The CD, which was recorded at GL Studios in Brandon, Florida, retails with a bonus DVD called Undead Vision, which is a short documentary/interview disc covering the history of the band members and the Tampa death metal scene, as well as offering more information on the origins of Denial Fiend.

Denial Fiend's 'Dead Awakening' 7" EP was released on May 21st through Ibex Moon Records. The EP consists of two alternate versions of the tracks 'They Rise' and 'Cover Me In Blood', which appear on the band's full-length. The pressing is limited to a mere 500 copies.
