AXEL RUDI PELL Cancel Wacken Open Air, Rock Of Ages Festivals

German guitarist AXEL RUDI PELL has issued the following update:
"Unfortunately we have to cancel our appearances at both summer Festivals, the Rock Of Ages and the Wacken Open Air, due to a schedule conflict of singer Johnny Gioeli in the USA. We have to apologize for that ! So there will be no shows for the band this year, but the next tour will definitely take place around January / February next year. Stay tuned for the dates in a few weeks here!The recordings of the new CD are going very well and all the basic tracks have been recorded at the Redhouse studios in Germany with our long-time engineer and friend Charlie Bauerfeind. We are very excited about this record as it features some modern vibes. This will be a massive step forward for the band and the fans won´t be disappointed ! Recently Johnny is laying down the vocals in Los Angeles and the mix will be done by Charlie during July. The album will be released by SPV on October 24th in Germany and October 27th in Europe. We'll let you know about the title and the songs here very soon!"
