Ola Lindgren, frontman and founder of legendary death metal pioneers GRAVE, continues his development of Studio Soulless in the south of Stockholm. As his first complete recording as producer Lindgren choose black metal veterans SPAZMOSITY's new recording Promo 2008.
“It feels cool to do my first thoroughly own production in the studio with raw sounding Spazmosity. A band I really believe in, and the result is damn good,” says Lindgren.
Studio Soulless has among other things been used to record Grave's latest album, Dominion VIII, as well as their previous As Rapture Comes.
Spazmosity's Promo 2008 consists of 17 minutes of death/black metal distributed over three tracks: 'Regicide', 'March Of Death' and '13 Miller’s Court' - you can download the tracks here. The songs are varied in style and exhibit Spazmositys broad arsenal of metal know-how. 'Regicide' also features Ola Lindgren as guest vocalist.
Spazmosity has been a part of the metal scene since 1994 and have played with among others AMON AMARTH, ENTOMBED, NECROPHOBIC, WATAIN and recently reborn VINTERLAND.
According to a press release, "Spazmosity's last recording Storm Metal was very well received in the underground scene and generated media attention both home and abroad. With their new ”Promo 2008” the band have evolved further both musically and in their live performance. Spazmosity is now ready to face the world in a quest for a greater fate."
