AYREON - Defective LP Versions Of 01011001 In Circulation; Replacement Copies Available

AYREON mastermind Arjen Lucassen has issued the following update:
"There have been some unfortunate quality problems with the 01011001 vinyl edition. Because of a mistake at the pressing plant, some of the LPs are faulty. The fault is noticeable as scratchy audio on Disc 1 Side A.Because the fault can't be detected until the LP is actually played, a systematic recall is impossible. The good news is that a new pressing (at a different pressing plant) was made recently, so good replacement copies are now available. If you received a faulty copy of the LP, please make sure that the replacement your shop sends you comes from the known good stock.
Of course, any replacements sent from the Arjen Lucassen Store will be from good stock, but we have no control over the policies of other shops, so it's probably best to ask!"
