Guitarist Kirk Windstein - "We Decided To Make DOWN Our Priority"

Spain's Hall Of Metal webzine has issued an interview with DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR). The following is an excerpt from the interview:
Q: Down has been a band since 1991, with three albums in 1995, 2002 and 2005. That’s because the members of the band at the moment had other bands. Are you now involved full-time in Down?
A: "Yes. I still do other things but we decided to make Down our priority, to be a real band, and you know… to do the other things for fun and Down for being a real band."
Q: How do you see the American metal scene (compared to) the European scene?
A: "American scene is great and European has great bands, the American scene changes day after day, and the European is different, bands use to do a lot of tours... I think it’s great, they like to play on stage and do a lot of great tours. I think the main differences are the fans in Europe are more loyal, America has a good audience, but it’s different."
