SKINLAB bassist/vocalist Steev Esquivel has issued the following update:
"Hey what's up everyone, time to drop some more news for ya'll.First off thanks to all our West Coast friends that came out to the shows. We had a killer time, all the shows were a great success... we'll be back after the new album drops.
Now after almost a year of legal bullshit, we are stoked to announce that we've walked away from our deal with Crash Music.
We've been forced to keep tight lipped on this matter for the last 8 months and feel that it's time that the light be shed on this matter. We are free and stoked to have been able to part ways with the label. We're looking forward to what the future brings us, the doors are again wide open for us to do what we want.
We are in a position to actually take this in any direction... Can I get a Hell yeah!!
The video is also coming along great. Jourdan is doing an amazing job, can't wait to share this with ya'll. From what we've seen so far looks sick.
Last couple shows this weekend before we actually buckle down and focus on the album - see you fuckers there."
The above mentioned dates are:
May
30 - Corona, CA - Angles Roadhouse31 - Apple Valley, CA - Angles
As previously reported, Skinlab recently updated their MySpace page to stream a pre-production version of their new track 'In For The Kill". Check it out here.
