HOLLENTHON Address Problems With Sales Of Opus Magnum Album On iTunes
June 4, 2008, 16 years ago
Austrian symphonic black metallers HOLLENTHON have issued the following message:
"We have learned that iTunes online store sold the new album Opus Magnum in it's promo version, with voiceover on some tracks. This also happened to other acts.We deeply regret that the band has not been involved in that whole process and hence could not anticipate that fault. Nevertheless we have been informed that iTunes is going to reimburse those who got the wrong version.
Apart from this annoying news we celebrated the new album's release last Friday, May 30th, with a party at Vienna's Escape Metalcorner as well as a successful show at Planet Music last Sunday, June 1st.
The new material proved to be really made for being played live and the band is really looking forward to bringing all of the new material to stages near all of you as soon as possible!"
Opus Magnum has been set for release on June 7th in North America (via Napalm Records).
Opus Magnum (artwork pictured) will contain the following songs: 'Ars Moriendi', 'Of Splendid Worlds', 'Once We Were Kings', 'To Fabled Lands', 'Dying Embers', 'Misterium Babel', 'On The Wings Of A Dove', 'Son Of Perdition'.
There will be a limited edition of the album with a bonus track - 'The Bazaar' (a cover of the Canadian band THE TEA PARTY) - and the video clip for 'Son Of Perdition'.
