Century Media Records reports:

The unstoppable Montreal killing machine, CRYPTOPSY, are currently wrapping up a very successful European tour that will immediately lead them into this year’s crushing Summer Slaughter North American touring package. This trek marks their first stateside run in support of their career defining release, The Unspoken King, which could quite possibly also be their most brutal, yet dynamic offering. The much anticipated new effort is set for a June 24th release.

Cryptopsy recently shot a new video with acclaimed director David Brodsky (GWAR, SOILENT GREEN) for the album’s vicious opening cut 'Worship Your Demons'. The clip captures the band’s unrelenting, frenetic stage energy and it is sure to catch your attention. It made its exclusive, online debut through the Headbanger's Ball Blog today and premieres on MTV2 this Saturday night. Click here to check it out now.

Flo Mounier (drums) further comments: “It is with pleasure that we announce the new Cryptopsy video, shot and directed by David Brodsky and the Mygoodeye team (GWAR, Soilent Green). The video is for the song ‘Worship Your Demons’ off of the new album, The Unspoken King. David and his crew found an awesome, dilapidated location in upstate NYC for this shoot and we actually had to build a floor since there wasn’t one there when we arrived. This is a straight up, brutal and in-your-face, punishing live performance clip that pulls no punches. It’s basically two minutes of unabashed aggression and we hope you all like it.

“We had a lot of fun doing this and we would like to thank David and his crew for a fantastic job, and a most friendly environment. Professionalism is always appreciated in this business. Check it out!”

Reinventing and redefining metal's boundaries, Cryptopsy, recognized worldwide for infusing extreme music with awe-inspiring precision, rabidly dynamic rhythms and mouth-foaming viciousness, have earned music fans’ respect inside and outside the metal community. The band's viperous recordings and punishing live performance have confirmed their place in music's elite.

In 2008, Cryptopsy returns to redefine the boundaries of technical extreme metal with an album that is sure to catch the attention of the entire scene.
