Exclusive: LOUDNESS - Live "Bootleg" DVD Featuring Stand-In Drummer Due For July Release

BW&BK; has received confirmation from LOUDNESS' management that the band will release a live "bootleg" DVD on July 30th. Entitled Liveshocks 2008 - Metal Mad Quattro Circuit, it will feature footage from the band's three shows in Japan back in April, with stand-in drummer Kohzo Suganuma (DED CHAPLAIN) behind the drum kit. Founding drummer Munetaka Higuchi was diagnosed with liver cancer in the weeks prior to these shows and could not perform. He is currently receiving treatment in Kobe, Japan.
More details regarding the DVD, which is currently being edited, will be revealed soon.
As previously reported, Loudness is also is gearing up for the release of a four disc live DVD set in August, tentatively titled The Legend Of Loudness - Complete Live Best. The first three discs will include live footage from the band's early days, with a total of 45 songs featured. Disc 4 will include never-before-scene live footage, TV appearance and the recent 'Metal Mad' video clip.
The tracklist and release date have yet to be confirmed, and fans should note the above details are tentative and subject to change.
