As previously reported by NME.com, THE WILDHEARTS were dramatically pulled offstage at Download Festival on June 15. The veteran British rockers' set was cut short after an apparently good-natured festival bottling got out of hand.

About the event, frontman Ginger comments: "To everyone who came to Download festival and made our appearance the most memorable of our lives. You guys and gals made me so proud. I had hoped you'd rise to the occasion on the day but you far exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Best crowd of the weekend? No doubt about it whatsoever. Even KISS would kill for our audience. We love you all."

The Wildhearts played: 'I Wanna Go Where The People Go', 'Suckerpunch', 'Caffeine Bomb', 'Vanilla Radio', 'My Baby Is A Headfuck', 'This Revolution Will Be Televised', 'Sick Of Drugs', '29 x The Pain'.
