Following the release of their new album, Under The Spell Of The Unlight, Finnish black metallers GLOOMY GRIM have fired the original guitarist Mörgöth. His replacement has already been found. The new axeman is occultist Father Umbra Sol. He has also helped Gloomy Grim before.

Gloomy Grim mainman Agathon comments: "This has been there for a long time. Working with Mörgöth has been more difficult in every day, these days impossible. I don..t say, that this decision was easy, but absolutely the right one. It has cleared the air in a very positive way. This had to be done, otherwise the band would have been dead, finished. We didn't come out from this as friends. The reason was not musical differences or other simple things as that. To me, Mörgoth is DEAD!"

Gloomy Grim's Under The Spell Of The Unlight was released on May 26th via their new deal with Anticulture Records.

Under The Spell Of The Unlight (artwork pictured) includes the following tracklisting: 'April - Within The Woods', 'May - Why Are They Screaming At Night?', 'June - Åkerspöke', 'July - Cold Fingers', 'August - So I Slept & Slept', 'September - Invoking The Flames (Burn, Burn, Burn)', 'October - Cellar Dweller', 'November - And The Bird Came In', 'December - The Bells Toll My Name', 'January - Dying Breed', 'February - Astral Planes I Have Travelled Through', 'March - The Call'.

According to a press release, "this is the return of the Satanic messiah Agathon and his legion of doom! Under the Spell of the Unlight will bring the band to a new level."
