SAVATAGE / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Chris Caffery, currently holed up in the studio working on a new solo album, has issued the following update:

"Howdy!

Approaching July 4th...wow...where did this year go? I know!!! It went to the studio!

But, that is a very good thing! My new CD, House Of Insanity, is nearing the final days of tracking. I will break for the weekend and begin mixing on Monday. This will be the first full length CD I have mixed alone!

I must say I have never been so excited about anything I have ever done. I have been trying to keep my over excitement to a bit of a low because you always like what you are doing as you do it, but this stuff just keeps getting more exciting as each track goes down. From the insane drums of John Macaluso to the additional background vocal and keyboard work by Mr. Lonnie Park (TEN MAN PUSH).

I cannot wait for everyone to hear this music. The majority of the tracking and engineering have been done by myself, alone. I have had my moments of Insanity while recording believe me!!! However, the end results are going to be worth it.

Everyone have safe and happy 4th of July weekend. Those of us here in the USA, take a little time to remember how and why we are here. The idea was freedom and democracy. It didn't happen easily and we are approaching a challenging time in this country. Hard work brought us together, hard work will get us out of this. We do need to work together...one nation under God, indivisable, with liberty and justice for all...

That's how it goes, correct? Or at least that is what I was taught. Who knows what they are teaching nowadays, whatever it is, we need to take some steps backwards to move ahead and out of this mess!

Peace!

Chris

P.S.: I hear rumors of $7 gas. That Pisses Me Off!!!!!"
