ZZ TOP Live From Texas Enters Canadian Music DVD Charts At #1 And Goes Gold

Following its Canadian debut at 53 Cineplex Entertainment theatres on June 19, ZZ TOP's first live concert DVD Live From Texas - released on June 24 via Eagle Rock Entertainment - enters the Canadian Music DVD charts at #1 and is now certified gold by the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA), for sales in excess of 5,000 units.

As evidenced by the recent success of ZZ Top - Live From Texas, Eagle Rock is enjoying continuous growth in the Canadian DVD market. According to Nielsen SoundScan, eight of the Top 50 Best-Selling music DVDs in Canada this week are Eagle Rock releases. And, the company has achieved 27% of the total DVD market share on this week's chart.

"Even with the constant bad news we keep hearing about the decline of audio, our company continues to market visual music successfully in a very challenging climate.
