BW&BK; has received the following press release:

Rock Against Diabetes has already outgrown itself. With an overwhelming response from many of the fans of participating bands, both www.deeprockdrive.com and Rock Against Diabetes www.rockagainstdiabetes.org have realized that the August 23rd festival style show needed a larger venue with more amenities for the fans.

"With the number of people wanting to attend in person, and the amount of time these people are going to be my guests, I felt the need to have top of the line services for food, beverage and other facilities for the fans and the acts" said organizer and founder Darrin Buchanan when asked why the move is happening. "The guys over at Deep Rock Drive also understood that the show was becoming much too large to keep in their venue, with everyone being comfortable and properly attended to." Deep Rock Drive has already refunded all online viewing ticket holders their money back as a new solution is set up to have the concert streamed live on the Internet.

Rock Against Diabetes and Deep Rock Drive have been working for the past couple of weeks, to lock in the perfect venue to partner with for the August 23rd event, and possibly the recently announced metal show featuring the Dimebag Darrell stage set for October 25th, 2008. With added production support from Deep Rock Drive, and the added facilities a conventional venue will give the show an added comfort level the fans, staff and performers..

VIP tickets will still be limited to 100 seats, and ALL terms and conditions promised to the holders of those tickets will be upheld in full. "Our VIP guests are guaranteed to have the up close and intimate experience they were promised since day one, and will have amazing VIP only seating" replied Buchanan when asked about the VIP only seating that was to take place in the Deep Rock Drive facility. Depending on what venue is chosen, 300-800 non VIP tickets will become available for approximately $20.00 with proceeds going to the charity. The venue will be announced by July 14th, with tickets on sale immediately following the announcement.
