ABANDONED Part Ways With Guitarist; Announce Replacement

German thrashers ABANDONED check in with the following band lineup news:
"G'day, we'd like to get the following message abroad:Yes, it's true, (guitarist Holger) Holg (Ziegler) will leave the band! Founding Abandoned with Kalli in 1999, he had to cope with the following issues in his ABANDO-time:
Writing monster thrash hymns, cleaning the floor with his hair to improve his banging technique, surviving all fart attacks in the rehearsal room, the Thrash-Mobile, and in hotels and last but not least generously analysing the alcoholic content of Sven's favourite beer years before anyone even thought of him as a drummer in Abandoned!
But Holg won't stop playing, he's looking for a new challenge. If you'd like to express your condolences to him, visit his MySpace site.
The only thing left for us to say is: Thanx for bringing Thrash back to the people with us!
Due to Holg's new priorities, it was time for a change. Our change is named (Fabian) Fabs (Schwarz) and should be well known as mad axeman of RUNAMOK and THE NEW BLACK or as former guitarist of PARADOX / STORMWITCH.
Welcome in the familiy, man!
