MSG Guitarist/Keyboardist Wayne Findlay Checks In From Europe

MSG guitarist/keyboardist Wayne Findlay has issued the following road update:
"Just returned with MSG from two great German Festivals. The first was The Honberg Festival in Tuttlingen Germany with MAGNUM. What an amazing concert inside the ruins at Honberg Castle. The view was incredible over looking the town below. The crowd was really awesome and we rocked the glowing blue castle at night!! Insane. This was definitely a memorable performance for me. I hope to return next year for another festival. The Magic Circle Festival in Bad Arolsen was another great show despite a few technical difficulties that were out of our control. Unfortunately, we had to play a shorter set because the shuttle was four hours late to pick up singer Gary Barden and Carlo my guitar tech from the airport. Good one!! So the whole band is waiting on stage for the first site of Gary Barden. Finally he arrives and we instantly run onstage and begin 'Into The Arena'. We end with 'Doctor, Doctor' for a shorter 40 minute set. Despite the poor stage monitor mix, the sound out front was great. Thousands of fans singing along with fists in the air, giving us the energy to rise above the minor distractions. Overall, I felt it was a great show and we look forward to playing here again next year, to rock the entire set as we had originally planned!!
After the show it was a real blast to hang out with fellow San Diego friends, BENEDICTUM. They're all VERY COOL and we have played shows together in the past. So it was great to be able to do that again.
Look for festival photos on this site and the myspace site in the next few days."
