THE HAUNTED - Versus Cover Art Revealed; Tel Aviv Show Cancelled
August 10, 2008, 16 years ago
Sweden's THE HAUNTED will release their new album, Versus, in late September via Century Media. Pictured at left is the cover art.
In live news, the band has issued the following update:
"We are sad to announce that the Tel Aviv festival (scheduled for August 14th) has been cancelled...The Israeli promoters have cancelled the festival due to 'security issues'...
We are sad to say that the agreed on advance fee for the show never showed up, and in agreement with how our agent works to provide the best service and security to us as a band the show was pulled.
We really think it sucks big hairy balls, but we have played way too many shows in the past where we or our agent have had to squeeze the agreed on fee from the promotor after huge hassles and sometimes paying money from our own pocket and in the end it just fucks with everyone from our fans, us as people and those who work with us.
We hope there will be other opportunities in the future to make it possible for us to come and play under better circumstances.
Peace / The Haunted"
