Folk/black metal duo KLABAUTAMANN are planning to enter the studio in September to record the follow-up to 2003's Der Ort.

About the upcoming recording, band member Florian Toyka issues the following update: "Klabautamann will start recording the follow-up to the highly acclaimed second album Der Ort this September. Once again Patrick Schroeder from CENTAURUS-A (on Listenable Records) will enrich the music with his masterful drumming. Also we will be using our own studio again to produce the record, which has become one of Klabautamann's trademarks. No outside influence regarding music, sound, artwork, etc. The band will be taking a break from all live-activities for the duration of the recording to focus 100% on the making of the record. This third record will be the biggest step forward for the band as Klabautamann has sort of arrived where we wanted to be. We've never been more satisfied with the music, which was written during an intense period of two weeks last April in a house in a small village."
