MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine has issued the following blog update:

"Droogies!

Today is Tuesday, and I am here at the studio early today, because I still have a hell of a lot of stuff to do still and Shane (Mr. Justice) is still setting up the studio network and doing IT on all of the computers that are here. The pile of Blackberry's I have gone through over the last year are all cleared, and I was watching a cool program last night about donating your old used or broken cell and it helps a charity on CNN. I just have to remember what it was.

Andy Sneap is also coming out next week to lookover the setup here and give me one last instruction list for our contractors here.

Shane is also going to interview me for our archives, and we will hopefully get the new round of media for another site of mine that needs it, as well as do some Podcast recording for the MFC.

I am still excited about the NASCAR event and I am going to be going to the Phoenix race, so maybe you'll see me there. I also was talking to someone who said if I could be the Grand Marshall, would I want to do it. I said yes!

And I have been a Grand Marshall before at the motorcycle race in Bol Dor, France, and I can even say, "Start your engines" in two languages!

Anyway, so I have a meeting today with my 'Dave Mustaine Signature Coffee' line's company and we are going to finalize some legal stuff that we have to do with me and with the company name. I also wanted to thank the gal who did the interview on my coffee blend; she had great comments about my coffee. Everytime this happens, I get that much closer to my goals of setting up and becoming successful and donating to a charity as well in my first year.

I am going to sample the holiday blends with Pam which by the way, your prayers helped and we are reconciling, and pick a Thanksgiving blend and a Christmas blend today for this year's Holiday Season.

On the building: Brandon is going to finish the painting today and hopefully get to the trim, and I have finally got a grip on this computer so, I am going to be able to start listening to new stuff I tracked.

And as I said at our Megadeth Fan Club, with all of the sorting that I have done with various helpers this last month, we have made a mountain of gear again to "eliminate" from our warehouse, as well as stage clothes and other touring stuff that we accumulated in the lockers. There are amps, speaker cabs, flight cases, guitars, used straps, used strings and picks, and wireless transmitters and receivers for in-ear monitors and cordless guitars, as well as various rack gear. There are also loads of collector promo stuff that we are going to make 'grab bags' of this

I also have some custom Lizard boots and Ostrich Skin boots, more guitars, and sporting good stuff from the Gigantour Softball game in 2006.

And you can add my Mercedes wheels and tires (the stock ones) and a set of AMG chrome 5 spokes, as well as possibly these Crack... er, Blackberries. You never know, but I am very interested in the charity thingy. If you know about charities that take used cell phones please send an email to our webmaster.

I was thinking of a Christmas AND a Thanksgiving Blend and finding two seperate charities just for the kids. We were able to purchase a huge amount of toys for the underpriveledged children, or the children whose Christmas' were disrupted or destroyed by the fires last year here in San Diego County.

We are going to limit the quantity of these Holiday Blends and as soon as I have the Forums and the chatroom set up for that company, I wont have to talk to you about it here or on the Megadeth forums with the Fan Club either, don't get me wrong, I love my coffee, it's just I won't be talking about it much through the boards here in a few weeks once they launch the new site.

I am going to be trying to chat with the Mustaine Coffee Crew this week, somehow (come on megadave! ), and would appreciate those of you who are in my Crew to help me with some choices for the Charity for those special blends.

Remember the Flying V shaped ukulele I found? It actually got played yesterday, and although I am not going to put it in a Megadeth or Dave M. song that I write, it is kewl to be learning another stringed instrument. I have always wanted to play another instrument and with Chris Broderick being such a huge talent, I think there is going to be some bombastic guitar shredding on this next record of the likes I have seen in years.

So, I went on YouTube and took a couple lessons. I couldn't help but notice most of those dudes were a little "different", right?

I am so inspired right now for this next record and the following tour. I owe this to Justis and his band jamming in the studio every night while I sit here and try to fix stupid computer glitches. I have to say that I just love the way that you have welcomed us into your lives, and thanks for visiting us here at the Official Megadeth site, as well as the Megadeth Fan Club site or Dave Mustaine related sites; Gigantour, The Live Line, AskDaveMustaine.com, and Legends Cup Coffee (soon to be confirmed as "NWCB, Inc.").

Lastly, we are going to change the name of the Legends Cup Coffee Company, Inc., to Net Worth Coffee Brokers, Inc. because we believe we found something better, as far as what we want to ultimately want to be perceived as, as well as we have had other countries own the name.

We want to be a worldwide company that can not only buy and sell coffee to benefit us, the farmers, and the environment, but also to help various charities, and I really want you to feel welcome in helping me pick who we are going to support.

Look for more good things to be coming your way here at the Official Megadeth.

Stay metal!

If you really want to "hear" from me, be sure to call me on TheLiveLine at (866) 597-6342 and for our international Droogies click here. Leave me a message and I might get back to you."
