BW&BK; has received the following update on Brazillian metallers SHADOWSIDE:

'Baby In The Dark' is the first single from Brazilian metallers Shadowside's new album. The song is one of the eleven tracks that are on the official tracklist for the Dare To Dream album, produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman at LCM Studio in Sao Paulo and mastered by Howie Weinberg (IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, PANTERA) at Masterdisk Studio in New York. This work will be released worldwide under a new label. In Brazil, it will be out on LCM Records/Skyblue Music, currently home for some of the most important and best-selling Brazilian artists.

"I see Dare to Dream as one step above in our career. We've kept the same attitude we had on Theatre of Shadows but we were a little more bold this time. I believe lots of people will be quite surprised because we did some stuff that maybe no one would ever expect us to do but we've also kept our identity. Recently we finished our contract with Chavis Records. They were one of the main people behind us giving us a "kick in the ass" in the right direction in our path and we're grateful for it and for everything they helped us achieve. We wish them only the very best, Bill and Lori will always be great friends of ours but it's time that we move on, it was the right moment to leave and we'll shop the new album to labels but have already started talking to some people that showed interest. We're extremely confident about this new material and very anxious to see what the future holds in store for us", said lead singer Dani Nolden.

The single will have a limited commercial edition and features the following tracklist: 'Baby In The Dark', 'In The Night', 'Life Denied'.

As of this moment, Shadowside are ready to hit the road. As well as being one of the headliners of Indianapolis Metal Fest the band will hit Spanish ground for the first time ever.
