As previously reported, Dark Essence Records label-mates HELHEIM and VULTURE INDUSTRIES will team up with COR SCORPII to play a series of dates in Norway during September. Billed as the Nord Og Ned tour, the dates confirmed are as follows:

September

19 - Tribute - Sandnes, Norway
20 - Flytten - Haugesund, Norway

26 - Treskeverket - Førde, Norway
27 - Cafe Larsen - Trondheim, Norway

This is not the first time the two Norwegian bands have toured together, despite belonging to completely different genres. Helheim are well known for their Viking music and beliefs, and recently caused a very positive stir, not just in Norway, but throughout the world, when they took the unusual step of launching their Kaoskult album in front of an audience of young children at a local kindergarten. Avant-garde metallers Vulture Industries, fronted by producer Bjørnar E. Nilsen, have a vastly experienced line up that includes, past, present, and session members of bands such as BLACK HOLE GENERATOR, SULPHUR, ENSLAVED, DEATHCON, SYRACH, MALICE IN WONDERLAND AND TAAKE, and were able to persuade Helge Jordal, one of Norway’s most respected actors, to take part in a special photo shoot for the artwork of their latest release The Dystopia Journals after he heard the band’s work.

The two bands will also be undertaking a tour of Northern Europe in November, taking in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic. Dates for the Vikings, Villains and Vultures tour will be announced shortly. Vulture Industries are also confirmed to play The Ålvik Rock Festival, in Norway on the 4th October.
