Swedish metallers THE HAUNTED have announced that their upcoming new album, Versus, will be streamed online

at the band's MySpace page from September 12th - 19th (beginning 00:01CET on September 12th - concluding at 00:01 on September 19th).

As previously reported, The Haunted will do a signing session on Friday, September 19th at Media Markt in Gothenburg, Sweden. Signing time is 7 PM (CET).

With their upcoming new album Versus, The Haunted are about to return meaner and angrier than ever before.

Whereas the predecessor The Dead Eye showed a darker, more experimental side of The Haunted, it was bravely decided for Versus album to get back to the basics and let the powergroove do the talking. Once again produced with Tue Madsen (who has worked on rEVOLVEr and The Dead Eye too) at PUK, Antfam and IF Studio, Versus features “No click tracks, no triggers, no faking it” and develops a fascinating level of dynamics and heaviness from its basic live-recording procedure.

Versus will be released as CD, LP as well as Ltd. Edition CD-Box including a special 4-track bonus CD, a double-sided poster, sticker and guitar pick on the following dates:
