Sweden’s extreme metal innovators THE HAUNTED can now proudly present you their new album Versus in its entirety as exclusive stream until September 19th plus a new track-by-track video in daily turns on the band’s MySpace page.

Once again produced with Tue Madsen (who has worked on rEVOLVEr and The Dead Eye too) at PUK, Antfam and IF Studio, Versus features “No click tracks, no triggers, no faking it” and develops a fascinating level of dynamics and heaviness from its basic live-recording procedure. In 2008, The Haunted return meaner and angrier than ever before!

Versus will be released as CD, LP (incl. the album on CD as bonus) as well as a special Limited Edition CD-Box package. This CD-Box (with alternative packaging artwork pictured at left) includes the normal album plus a special 4-track bonus CD (entitled Collateral Damage), a double-sided poster, an exclusive sticker as well as a The Haunted guitar pick. The bonus tracks included in the limited edition CD-Box of Versus were also recorded during the album sessions and are as follows: 'Seize The Day', 'Narcotic', 'Versus' (instrumental) and 'Devolve'.

UK / France / Greece / Denmark / Norway / Rest Of Europe: Monday, September 22nd

Spain / Portugal: Tuesday, September 23rd

North America: Tuesday, October 14th / Tuesday October 28th (ltd. Red coloured vinyl)

The Haunted will be kicking off the touring cycle for Versus with a Scandinavian tour in October, followed by an Australian and South American tour in November, see below for the exact dates:
