Norway's SYRACH have issued the following recap of their 15th Anniversary show, which took place in Bergen, Norway on September 12th.

"Finally we are done with this. We have been preparing for this show alongside with preparations for the tour/studio/writing and booking and it paid off. We had a great night in the sign of Syrach...

The night started off with the original line-up from 1993 playing some tunes from the first two demos, Helferd and ...Nor The Frail Perception. The setlist was: 'Horizon', 'At Lords Door', 'Longing For Cease' and 'R.I.P.'. It sounded just like back in the days, uncertain if that's a good thing, but we had a great time!

Then the fantastic Le Flan De Sang entered the stage, and we were up for a great surprise! They started off with the song 'Semper Ardens'. In a strange way, but still recognizable. They were kind enough to let the audience hear the original first, in a 5 second summary at high speed. Then they did a French version of 'Nine Fallen Men'. When using kazoo's, cello and a vocalist from outer space, this was really a great performance!

Then Hjarandr entered the stage for a female fronted acoustic version of 'Nine Fallen Men. After switching to the bass, he started up one of our new tunes, 'Orberos'. An instrumental, perfect as an intro. We played the intro until Adam decided to come to the stage to do some drumming on the song and then we went straight to the new song 'Curse The Souls'.

This evening was to see the difference between the old stuff and the brand new one. So we played mainly a set of completely new tunes. So the ones there, was the first ever to hear the songs performed live!

We will sincerely thank all the attending folks, and everyone being kind enough to share the stage with us in our honour!

We hope to have some great new 15 years coming our way...

WE SALUTE YOU ALL!"
