DIMMU BORGIR - Advance Public Screenings Of New DVD Confirmed For Portland And Chicago

As previously reported, DIMMU BORGIR’s The Invaluable Darkness DVD - a three-disc package of 2 DVDs plus a bonus audio CD - is scheduled for North American release on October 14th, 2008. Nuclear Blast USA has announced several advance screenings that are open to the public. They are as follows:
September
24 - The Fez - Portland, OR - 12:00am (midnight screening, be there on the late evening of the 23rd)30 - Steve Allen Theater - Los Angeles, CA (10:00pm)
October
6 - The Colosseum - Chicago, IL (tba)8 - The Fez - Portland, OR (midnight screening, be there on the late evening of the 7th)
Nuclear Blast comments: "If you live in the area, mark your calendars and make sure you don't miss these special events because there will be some surprises at hand (especially for the Los Angeles event!) for everyone who attends!"
At the Los Angeles screening there will be a Question-&-Answer session with special guest Silenoz. The event will be hosted by Brendon Small of Metalocalypse, who shares: “Dimmu is one of the best bands around. As a fan, I'm really looking forward to the Q and A! And as a person who spends his time with a cartoon band, it's going to be nice to spend time with a human member of a band that actually exists..."
Tickets are $10.00 and will include a free Nuclear Blast grab bag plus raffle entry for the following prizes:
- First Prize: An ESP Guitar autographed by members of Dimmu Borgir- Second Prize: Two tickets to Dimmu Borgir’s Los Angeles show on November 5th at The Gibson Amphitheater
