LOUDNESS Issue Update On Drummer Munetaka Higuchi's Health

As previously reported, LOUDNESS drummer Munetaka Higuchi was hospitalized on April 7th after being diagnosed with liver cancer. The band has issued the following update
"Since April, Munetaka has been battling the disease, receiving two anti-cancer drug treatments and having his liver partially surgically removed. He was discharged from hospital and treated at home for a while but will be returning to the hospital shortly to receive a third anti-cancer drug treatment."Loudness will be on hiatus until Higuchi has recovered and is able to return to the band.
