Pell commented: "'Emotional Echoes' is a totally untypical Axel Rudi Pell Instrumental and has nothing to do with my other more classical influenced songs. We never worked with such rhythms before... it's a "Santana meets Joe Satriani meets Michael Schenker" influenced kinda thing, of course very recognizable as ARP due to my lead guitar. After I played the rhythm guitars I was so excited about the groove, that i picked up the bass and played it on this track. Volker liked my bass playing too and he forgave me for doing his job on that track... haha... have fun!"
