NIGHTWISH - New York Show Cancelled

Nightwish have issued the following update:
"Due to Anette's (Olzon) illness, also the show in New York is cancelled. SONATA ARCTICA will play though, and the guys of Nightwish will be there for a meet and greet. This was one of the best tour legs we have ever done, and it's a pity it has to end this way, but there's no competing with the forces of nature. There is nothing anybody can do about these things. We want to thank all the fans for all the sympathy, you guys have been so understanding, it's heartwarming. Thank you! We will do our best to make up for the cancelled shows sometime in the future."Nightwish had already cancelled concerts in Knoxville, TN, and Charlotte, NC, and Baltimore, MD, due to Anette's ilness. The concert at the Nokia Theater in New York was the last US date of the tour.
