DEEP PURPLE Drummer Ian Paice Adds Austrian Date With Tribute Act PURPENDICULAR; Clinic Confirmed

According to the DEEP PURPLE Appreciation Society, drum legend Ian Paice is due to play a short European Tour with Deep Purple tribute act PURPENDICULAR in December 2008. The first of the confirmed dates is in Innsbrück, Austria on December 18th, to be preceded by a drum clinic. The band part of the show will apparently feature "a large amount of obscure Purple tracks."
A new tour date has been confirmed by Artefix Music in Germany for 17th December 2008 in Aschaffenberg (near Frankfurt). This is the third date to be confirmed with Purpendicular. The other dates are in Austria. 18th Innsbrück and the 20th in Graz. More dates are to be added.
