METALLICA's Death Magnetic Holds Steady Atop Euro Albums Chart

METALLICA retains their crowns on Billboard's pan-European sales charts for another week. Death Magnetic (Vertigo/Universal) leads European Top 100 Albums for a third time. The Metallica album drops sharply 1-7 in the United Kingdom, and also descends 1-5 in Ireland, 1-3 in Finland and Denmark, and 1-2 in Holland, Germany, Italy, Portugal and the Belgian region of Flanders. But it remains at No. 1 in Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden and debuts at No. 1 in Greece.
