SPIRITUS MORTIS Issue Recording Update

The oldest Finnish doom metal band SPIRITUS MORTIS check in with the following studio update:
"Recording sessions of three songs went well, it was nice to see (each other) after all these years so for a few hours we just talked and talked a lot of bullshit.About those three songs, we think that one song goes to Firebox sampler and other two are released as 7" single.
Some remarks from session: "Ketola will fix that/will make wonders at mix", "Shit, it was so slow and tuned down!", "Lets put an explosion on that one"."
Spiritus Mortis recently inked a new deal with with Firebox Records. Firebox will release the band's third album at the beginning of 2009. A seven-inch single will be the first preview from the album and will be released later this year. There's also plans for gigs and tours after the album release.
