TRANS-SIBERIAN ORHESTRA co-founder Paul O'Neill is featured in a radio interview aired October 8th on Seattle's KZOK 102.5 FM on the Bob Rivers Show. Go to this location to stream the interview.
Following is a statement from the station:
"Paul O'Neill created TSO back in the mid-nineties. He had approached friends Robert Kinkel, Jon Oliva, and Al Pitrelli with an idea to record a Christmas-inspired rock opera. That eventually became the 1996 album Christmas Eve and Other Stories. 'Chrismas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)' from that album became a radio hit.TSO followed their debut with 1998's The Christmas Attic, then Christmas Eve and Other Stories, and their latest, 2004's The Lost Christmas Eve.
When Paul O'Neill had the idea to form TSO, he was no stranger to the business. He had already built a successful track record on the production, management and concert promotion side for artists like AEROSMITH (whom Paul told us he got to tour with when he was just 19!), SCORPIONS, DEF LEPPARD, AC/DC, and more.
Our interview with Paul was fascinating- we learned why he never became a drug addict, for example..."
