DOWNSPIRIT Complete Line-Up

German/Swiss blues/metal act DOWNSPIRIT, the new band formed by SYMPHORCE/ex-FREEDOM CALL guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, have added bassist Mitch Koontz (GODIVA) and drummer Sebastian Dunkel to their line-up.
The band are currently working on the pre-production for their upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in mid 2009. According to a press release, "blending old blues roots with a modern, downtuned guitar-feel, their songs are a mixture of typical bluesy '80's hard rock and a contemporary metal sound, which also includes some electro-loops here and there."
