Swedish thrashers DARKANE have issued the following update from Christopher Malmstrom:

"Hello metal heads!

Demonic Art has finally been released in Europe and Japan is next up November 5th while North America will have to wait unitl January 2009. The reactions we’ve gotten so far has been very positive and we feel very proud of this album.

Shows are coming up as well and we can’t wait to play the new songs live for the first time. First up is three shows in Switzerland next weekend which we are looking forward to alot! If you have the possibility to check any of the shows out you definately should because Darkane is hungry to come out and play some metal for you!

Two weeks later we have four shows in Italy which we’re also looking forward to alot!

In the meantime listen to the tracks we’ve put up on MySpace and make sure to order your copy of Demonic Art ASAP!"

As previously reported, Darkane have announced four Italian shows in November. The dates are as follows:
