BIF NAKED - "I Was Told By The Doc That I Shouldn't 'Blow A Stitch' Or 'Faint', But She Doesn't Know Rock Singin'"

Canadian rock vocalist Bif Naked, who is currently battling breast cancer, has issued the following update:
"Namaste, and howdy-ho, Beautiful People.....today we are preparing for Diwali (the happiest festival of the Hindu calendar- the festival of lights!). Chemo was no big whoop, today, but we are distracted by the rangoli (chalk drawings) we are making, and of course all the SWEEEEEETS we will consume!I miss touring, today. A LOT! Sometimes, I wish so hard to be on tour and I squint my eyeballs shut and wish and wish and wish for touring life to enrapture me once again.:)
And it will. I just have to be patient. I'm sure by next spring, when the new record is being birthed, we will be travelling along like the freakin' Scary Partrige Family, once again. My surgery came and went and I'm being a big, growed-up girl about my daily injections, though it seems to me that my blood is so thin, now, and without that nutty port I took the chemo like a champ in the hand (see photo) and the blood splashed the nurse like I threw pomegranite juice on her Sheesh! We laughed. What could we do? Nuthin' but laugh.
I'm going to try to go to the studio this week. I was told by the doc that I shouldn't 'blow a stitch' or 'faint' but she doesn't know rock singin'. Hahahaha! Have a serendipitous week and be good to yourselves."
