FRAMESHIFT mastermind Henning Pauly has resurfaced with a new metal project, SHADOW'S MIGNON, featuring TRANSMISSION vocalist Juan Roos.

"I won't say much yet, just that the new album is finished. Yet again featuring Juan Roos on vocals this CD is very different than Credit Where Credit is Due. Where CWCID explored very modern metal styles and even went into the industrial (which many classic metal reviewers really didn't like), this new CD is going back to the good old days of metal and transports you to a time when DIO and IRON MAIDEN created sounds that were unheard of and every riff was something completely new to discover. This music had the raw energy that could ignite a generation and the mysticism that could ensnare the mind. Warriors and Dragons and mystical worlds were the favorite topic and even to this day, this music is not dead. We decided to join the many musicians who hold on to the glory days of metal and see what it feels like to fuckin' ROCK and be slaves to our OWN metal.

You can hear full songs on the MySpace page, and you can hear samples of all the songs in the audio section of this website or directly through the following link.

This will also be the first project which will be performed live. The band already has all the material, practice tracks and lead sheets and we are estimating that we'll be starting shows early 2009. I am fortunate to have found some awesome performers. First of all Juan Roos, the heart and soul of metal itself. Well, I'll be playing guitar. Stephan Kernbach from CHAIN and TRANSMISSION is on the keys and the EVIL organ. Thorsten Hannig from the original Chain line-up is back on the drums and better than ever. Thomas Jachan from VISION SCOPE will heat up the strings on the bass for us and Jochen Interthal (LAMA graduate and string artist) will be the second guitar player. This six headed beast will be firing up the speakers and make you bang your heads in glorious rhythms. We'll be having a nice assortment of mearchandising, inlcuding button, T-Shirts and other obligatory metal-wares.

How and when the album will be released is not sure yet, but I will keep you informed. Stay tuned."
