Organizers of next year's Bloodstock Open Air 2009 - which will be held from August 14th-16th August 2009 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England - have issued the following update:

"The new Bloodstock Rock Society Memberships have officially gone on sale on a first come first serve basis.

There are only 250 Rock Society memberships on sale in the Bloodstock store. Each member will receive superb privileges for Bloodstock Open Air 2009 including 10% discount on all festival merchandise purchased online until December 15th 2008 and at the event, access back stage to the VIP hospitality area, priority queuing at the signing tent to meet the bands of your choice and no doubt anything else we might be able to throw your way over the coming months.

Each member receives:

1. Laminated Rock Society pass with your name and number on it.

2. 10% Discount on all Bloodstock merchandise and tickets purchased on line. (Discount applies until 15th December 2008).

3. 10% Discount on all Bloodstock Merchandise purchased at the festival. You will need to present your Rock Society pass at the merchandise stall in order to claim your discount.

4. Backstage Tours at Bloodstock 2009 for Rock Society Member’s only.

5. A `Thank you` page in the Bloodstock programme listing all Rock Society members.

6. Exclusive entry before anyone else into the signing area.

7. Access to the Bloodstock Rock Society Forum.

8. Access to the VIP Hospitality area to mingle with the bands, press and guests.

The Rock Society Forum enables you to chat alongside other new members as well as our loyal lifetime members who have supported Bloodstock for many years.

Official Rock Society passes will be sent out to you by post within 21 days from purchase and you will need to bring these with you when attending the Festival in 2009.
