STYGIA Guitarist Receives NAMM 09 Scholarship

Guitarist Todd Seitz from Boston-based progressive metallers STYGIA has issued the following update:
"Hello All!I just got the word that I'll be receiving the NAMM 09 Scholarship from Berklee College of Music. This is specifically a scholarship from the Music Business Department of Berklee. Not only do I love playing metal music, but I also have a passion for musical products. Without these products I would be nowhere. It will be a pleasure to attend the NAMM Show once again.
P.S. The Stygia album will soon move on to vocal recording. I have started to record guitar solos. Some massive shred here! I'll have more updates soon!"
As previously reported, Stygia's new album will be called Divine Allegiance.
The recording lineup joining guitarist Todd Seitz for the Stygia debut includes: vocalist Mike Vescera (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS, OBSESSION), keyboardist Michael Pinella (Symphony X), bassist Michael LePond (Symphony X), drummer John Macaluso (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Ark, TNT) and guest guitarist Hank Shermann (MERCYFUL FATE, FORCE OF EVIL).
