AC/DC Drummer Phil Rudd Pleads Not Guilty To Drugs Possession, Attempt To Kill Charges

According to ABC Online, AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has pleaded not guilty to charges of threatening to kill and possession of drugs, his lawyer told a New Zealand court.
The 60-year-old, who has been on bail since his arrest early last month, was excused from appearing in Tauranga District Court and his plea was entered by his lawyer.
The threatening to kill charge carries a maximum sentence of seven years in jail.
Rudd remains on bail, with a procedural hearing set for February next year.
Rudd’s legal woes coincides with the release of AC/DC’s new album, which sees its North American release today.
Rock Or Bust was produced by Brendan O’Brien, with Mike Fraser mixing at Bryan Adams' Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC. The album’s cover art uses a developed 3-D lenticular technology, which gives the illusion of the band’s iconic logo exploding as the album is moved.
