AC/DC Tops Latest Billboard Top Tours List

According to Billboard, AC/DC tops the latest tally of Hot Tours, based on box-office sales from three Midwestern US arenas on the legendary rock band's Rock or Bust world tour. Sold-out shows in Fargo, ND, St. Paul, MN and Chicago, IL, generated $5.7 million in revenue from 47,939 sold seats.
AC/DC's Rock or Bust tour kicked off in April of last year with a headlining appearance at the Coachella music festival in Indio, CA, followed by a three-month stadium run through European markets in May. North American stadium performances in August and September led into a seven-city jaunt through Australia, the band's home country, and New Zealand through mid-December. The 2016 winter trek through US arenas will stretch into early April, and a final stint in Europe is on the books for May and June.
