AEROSMITH - JOEY KRAMER To Open Rockin’ & Roastin’ Café

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer - a self-proclaimed java connoisseur, launched a coffee brand last year as a second career. Now the 64-year-old rocker intends to open his first coffee shop, Joey Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ Café, at the intersection of Routes 1 and 1A in North Attleborough, Massachusetts in early spring, according to Taryn Luna of The Boston Globe. Kramer says the cafe will serve as the flagship location of a business he hopes to eventually grow into a national franchise.
“It’s going to be a coffee house with a rock-star edge,” he said, “pretty much like nothing anyone has ever seen.”The 1,500-square-foot shop seems better suited for Las Vegas than Massachusetts. It was designed around a “rock royalty” theme with plush furniture, dark crimson tones, and ornate moldings and fixtures. Rock memorabilia will line the ceilings, and screens flash legendary concerts.
Kramer’s drum set from a recent world tour will be lit up and visible from the road. The coffee brand’s dragon logo with illuminated eyes will be on a large sign outside near a 1,500-square-foot seasonal patio. Further details can be found here.
