AFTERSHOK Release Official Lyric Video For “The World United”

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based classic heavy metal band, Aftershok, have released a lyric video for “The World United”, a track from their third full-length studio album, Detonate, out now via Auburn Records. The new clip can be found below.

The album was recorded by Jim Dofka at JK Musicians Workshop in Washington, PA. Mastering was handled by veteran mastering engineer Maor Appelbaum, who has worked with artists such as Halford, Sepultura, Anvil, Dokken, Faith No More and Armored Saint, to name a few. Cover art and layout design was done by Alex Yarborough. Detonate is distributed in North America by Hells Headbangers, Big Cartel, Amazon, CD Baby and iTunes.

For this release, guitarist George Mihalovich and drummer George Borden joined forces with new vocalist Gord Sheffroth from New Brunswick, Canada to create 13 tracks of modern classic metal. Sheffroth replaces vocalist Vic Hix (Shok Paris) who appeared on the band's first two albums, Unfinished Business (2002) and Burning Chrome (2005).
