Backstage Axxess has checked in with the following update and a new video interview:
"After a very cool intimate performance of some Alice Cooper classics at the Korg booth at this year’s NAMM expo, we talked to both bassist Chuck Garric and new guitarist Nita Strauss of the Alice Cooper Band. Of course we started off by talking about the upcoming tour with Motley Crue. We asked Nita how she got the gig with Alice. She detailed how that all went down for us. We also talk about her plans for her upcoming solo disc. With Chuck, we talked about his side project Beasto Blanco and of course we dive into the ESP Project. Will we ever see them do any live shows here in North America? See what Chuck has to say about that."On February 9th, shock rock legend Alice Cooper guested on Eddie Trunk Live. He discussed touring with Mötley Crüe, his upcoming covers album, his documentary Super Duper Alice Cooper, manager Shep Gordon's documentary "Supermensch", the Hollywood Vampires group he used to drink with, and more. Check out the complete interview below:
Cooper recently revealed to Eddie McGuire of Triple M's The Hot Breakfast that he will be touring Australia with Mötley Crüe in May.
Cooper also talked about Mötley Crüe's The Final Tour and their last gig. "They finish up in the United States on New Year's and they said that's their last gig. I told them, why don't you let me kill you on stage? That finishes everything. Four guillotines, floomp done, auction off the heads on stakes." Listen to the audio:
Mötley Crüe announced on the Fox News morning show, Fox & Friends, the details of their final performance. This will mark the end of their touring career and will conclude their two year Final Tour cycle at the end of 2015 on New Year’s Eve, December 31st at Staples Center in their hometown of Los Angeles where the band’s career began 34 years ago.
