ALICE COOPER - Spike Games To Launch Slot Based On Classic “School’s Out”
January 27, 2016, 8 years ago
UK-based slots developer, Spike Games, is creating a new title based on the 1972 hit “School’s Out” by hard rock legend Alice Cooper under a new licensing deal, reports GamingIntellegence.com.
The song was Cooper’s first successful single, topping the UK charts and widely considered to be one of the band's best releases. It gained notoriety when some radio stations banned the single over fears it would encourage teenagers to rebel.
Spike Games was established by Rob Anderson, a slot development veteran who co-founded Alchemybet before selling the business to Gaming Realms. Spike Games subsequently signed as Gaming Realms' exclusive distribution partner for HTML5 content in February 2015.
“I love everything about this song,” Anderson said of School’s Out. “Alice Cooper is a huge deal worldwide, he’s as popular in China as he is in his home town. What attracted us most was how visually stunning Alice Cooper is. Everyone instantly knows the band when they see the famous one of a kind Alice Cooper makeup.”
