ALICE IN CHAINS To Join GUNS N’ ROSES For Their Historic Return In Las Vegas

One of the most celebrated acts in music history continue to make headlines as they prepare for their North American run in April. Guns N’ Roses - featuring the iconic lineup of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan - will be joined on their sold-out Las Vegas dates by multi-platinum rock band Alice In Chains opening weekend at T-Mobile Arena on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th.  

Guns N’ Roses currently have six shows booked in 2016. Their live itinerary is as follows:

8 - T-Mobile Arena - Las Vegas, NV
9 - T-Mobile Arena - Las Vegas, NV
16 - Coachella Music Festival - Indio, CA
19 - Forum Sol - Mexico City, Mexico
20 - Forum Sol - Mexico City, Mexico
23 - Coachella Music Festival - Indio, CA

To celebrate the reunion, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame are featuring the 2012 Hall Of Fame Inductees in its Legends Of Rock exhibit that opened on Friday, February 26th.

Items on display include the following: a Guns N’ Roses pinball machine owned by Slash; a black top hat with a brim that curls at edges worn by Slash; a button down madras plaid shirt with cut off sleeves worn by Axl Rose; a black Colorado Rockies short-sleeved jersey worn by Dizzy Reed; a prototype Slash guitar (a 1986 Les Paul replica, handmade by Kris Derrig); and black leather Converse high-top sneakers worn by Slash.

RollingStone.com is reporting that reclusive former Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin has stepped forward to tell fans that he will not be participating in the band's upcoming reunion concerts.

"At this point in time, I will not be playing at any of the April 2016 GNR shows," the guitarist said in an e-mail to Rolling Stone. "I've also not been in the studio recording or writing with any of the others recently. There is so much speculation, but so very little info, [that] I thought I should reach out."
