Brazilian singer and composer Edu Falaschi (Almah, ex-Angra) for the first time in his career has collaborated with a Russian band and recorded a guest vocal part for the self-titled debut album of heavy/power/folk metal group Stilverlight from Saint-Petersburg.
Edu’s voice can be heard on “Open Your Eyes” in a vocal fight with the Stilverlight’s singer Max Palanin. The album will have its digital release November 28th via German label Power Prog.
Stilverlight guitarist Igor Radomsky commented: “I’m really happy that Edu accepted our invitation to participate in our first album!I am a huge fan of his singing in Angra and I really like Almah.”
Vocalist and guitarist Max Palanin added: “It’s incredible! I can hardly describe this special feeling when you hear this song that just little time ago was played in a garage rehearsal room and today it’s sung by a rock metal legend! It is a big honour for us all”.
The Stilverlight cover art, created by Mattias Noren, can be seen below.
