AMARANTHE Vocalist Elie Ryd Launches Tour Blog - "Good Lord, I'm Back In Denver, The City Where It All Happens..."

Swedish/Danish pop-metal sextet Amaranthe are currently on the road in North America supporting Within Temptation. Vocalist Elie Ryd has launched a tour blog via her official website at this location. Following is her latest entry:
September 29th:
"Oh good lord, I’m back in Denver, the city where it all happens. I have played here with Kamelot twice, Nightwish once, and soon twice with Amaranthe. It always feels very special for me to come back to Denver since I have a special history here.We arrive about one hour before the show! First of all there was some misunderstanding with the time zone if I understand correct, so we left Gallup at 7, we should have left earlier.. and on top of that we got stuck in a line on the highway. Haha! I’m surprised we made it in time as that everything worked on stage, the microphones, in-ears, guitar, everything! It must have been the double rainbow we saw on the way that brought us the luck. Or just Colorado being awesome! Honestly, amazing crowd! Thank you! Very cool venue! We loved it, we loved you! Hope to be back soon!"
Ryd's "special history" with Denver goes back to September 28th, 2012 when she filled in for ex-Nightwish vocalist Anette Olzon, who was hospitalized due to illness. It was a last minute decision to go ahead with the show, featuring Elize filling in where she was able:
