AMON AMARTH - “First Kill” Drum Video Posted

The new video below from Sick Drummer Magazine features Jocke Wallgren performing Amon Amarth’s “First Kill” at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO on May 7th, 2016. Back in March, Amon Amarth announced that Jocke Wallgren (October Tide) would be joining them as drummer for their upcoming tours. Wallgren’s debut with the band took place on March 22nd at the Underworld in London, England.

Amon Amarth have announced the remaining dates of its massive European Jomsviking tour with new shows added in Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic and Hungary. The biggest tour of Amon Amarth’s career comes on the heels of the victorious worldwide release of the band’s 10th studio album, Jomsviking (Columbia Records/Sony Music/Metal Blade Records). Jomsviking smashed sales charts around the world including charting a triumphant #1 in Germany, #1 in Austria and #3 in Switzerland.

Comments Amon Amarth, “Europe, after three years away we are returning to your lands and are bringing with us our biggest headline show ever. Sharpen your weapons, fortify your embankments and hide your loved ones! We are bringing our berserker party to a town near you and we hope to see you there so you can “Raise Your Horns” together with us to glory!

Joining Amon Amarth as Special Guest in the UK, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal is the legendary Bay Area thrash titans Testament. Testament’s Eric Peterson follows up: “With a heart of steel and rippling distant thunder, we are honoured to board the AA Viking ship and get ready to feast and plunder with them across Europe! Thor's hammering strikes shall lead the way! Skol!”

Poland’s finest Behemoth will be joining Amon Amarth as Special Guest for dates in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Behemoth’s Nergal comments, “The last and only time we toured with Amon Amarth was over a decade ago when both our bands were conquering North America in a small shitty van. We are in a different place now and we are more then honoured to be sharing the stage with those Norse men again! Scandinavia, you have been warned!”

Also joining Amon Amarth as support on all shows is Sweden’s epic Grand Magus. JB from Grand Magus declares, "Warriors of the north Atlantic! We are proud and excited to be part of this tour. Earth-shattering metal is coming your way. Amon Amarth, Testament/Behemoth, and Grand Magus on the same night! There will be headbanging, thrashing, and all around heaviness to fill all needs. Join us! Rejoice!”
