Dutch vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen (ex-The Gathering) has checekd in with the following update:

"Verloren Verleden, my collaborative album with Árstíðir is out now! Ever since I was a child this music has always been with me, it's the reason I started singing! And then my brother introduced me to heavy metal :-) The album features a broad selection of momentous classical and traditional works, reconceived and re-imagined within the Árstíðir/Anneke sound-universe. 

The moment I heard the guys of Árstíðir do a soundcheck, when we were on tour together with Pain of Salvation, I knew I wanted to work with them on something acoustic. It took some years, but here we are! 

A comprehensive month-long release tour is planned across theaters in the Netherlands in March."
